Local academic support

Reduce difficulties Increase efficiency

SwissCAS⁺ believes that education achieves the highest effectiveness when learners are consistently supported by specialised academic support systems.

Step 1 – Study Schedule Reminder

The Academic Support System will remind learners of their study schedules through email, phone calls, and automated scheduling systems.

This helps learners stay proactive and organise their study plans and work commitments more effectively.

Step 2 – Review the Module Outline

Learners review the module outline and teaching plan to clearly understand the course structure and key learning objectives, while identifying the core topics that require preparation.

Step 3 – Study on the LMS Platform

Learners access recorded lectures and learning materials that have been translated and reviewed by subject-matter experts.

This stage helps learners grasp the key concepts and identify topics that require deeper discussion.

Step 4 – Prepare Academic Questions

Learners prepare their academic questions and study issues in advance, and may submit them through the LMS or the Academic Support System for clarification before the class session.

Step 5 – Live Broadcast Class (Live Class)

The lecturer delivers the session in accordance with the teaching plan.

During the class, learners receive direct support from teaching assistants and class coordinators to enhance interaction and improve learning effectiveness.

Step 6 – Teaching Assistant Support (if applicable)

Teaching assistants support learners during tutorial sessions, helping them deepen their understanding, apply the knowledge acquired, and develop ideas for assignments and assessments.

Step 7 – Complete the Assignment

Learners complete their assignments in accordance with the Assignment Guide, with support from teaching assistants during the process.

Step 8 – Plagiarism Check

The Academic Support System assists learners with English language, academic formatting, and plagiarism checking before the final submission, according to the scheduled support sessions.

Step 9 – Submit the Assignment on the LMS System

Learners confidently submit their final assessment through the LMS before the specified deadline.
